A short conversation
Is the staircase straight or does it turn? Roughly how many steps? Who is going to be using it? That is usually enough for us to explain the realistic options.
Call and tell us what your staircase does. We can usually give you a sense of the options there and then, and the survey that follows is free with no obligation.
Tell us your postcode and whether the stairs turn, and we can come back to you with something useful.
Fill this in and we will call you back to arrange the survey. If it is urgent, the phone is always quicker.
So you know exactly what you are agreeing to at each point.

About half an hour. We measure the staircase properly, including the narrowest point, and check where the lift will park and charge.
One figure covering the lift, the installation and removing any old lift. Take as long as you like over it — we do not chase.
A straight lift is usually fitted in a morning. A curved rail is built for your stairs first, so there is a wait before the fitting day.
If you call outside these hours, leave a message and we will come back to you.
Straight or turning is the single biggest factor in both price and how long you will wait. If you are not sure, a photo from the bottom of the stairs tells us a lot.
Stairlifts supplied to someone chronically sick or disabled, for their own home, can be zero-rated under HMRC rules. We will tell you whether it applies.
If you already have a lift that has stopped working, do not assume it needs replacing. Call and describe the fault first.
We are based in Winchmore Hill and cover Greater London. If your address is not on the list it is still worth calling — we will tell you honestly whether we can get to you.
Every one of these is a verbatim Google review left for Zengo Mobility.
